My Hubby!!

So, if any of you have been to our house, you would think that we just moved in. Not that there are boxes or anything that terrible, but we have not done much in the way of decorating. Sad, but true. We have been in our house for almost a year and are just barely starting to do the painting that we intended on doing when we moved in.
However, I do have to say that once Adam starts something, he doesn't stop until it is done. He started painting last Thursday night and painted until 1:30am that night, all day Friday and Saturday and painted Monday until 1:00am again. He has painted our great room, the halls, over the stairs and the kitchen. Also, the area over our stairs was terrible, we have high vaults and not a great ladder to reach those areas. I thought for sure that there would be a call to 911 when he was painting there with one foot on the ladder and another on the railing hanging over as far as he could. I am sure that he is exhausted, but our house is really starting to look great. He is a perfectionist when it comes to painting, which I am grateful for, he does a great job. In fact, the parts where I helped seem to be the spots where it is not so perfect. We now just need to get it decorated and it may actually look like a home. Here are a couple of shots of what we have done so far. Still a work in progress...
Adam also installed a ceiling fan in the great room, which helps a ton with the heat, thanks Adam!!
